Nestled in the heart of East Memphis, the Memphis Botanic Garden consists of 96 acres with 31 specialty gardens. My Big Backyard family garden offers a place for jumping, splashing, digging, creating, and discovering the joys of time spent outdoors. The renowned Seijaku-en, Japanese Garden of Tranquility, is a popular attraction, with its recognizable red drum bridge and unique cultural features. Their gardens also provide beautiful settings for visitors to enjoy, as well as scenic spots for special events and weddings. The Memphis Botanic Garden invites everyone to join them for a year-round schedule of special events and programs, including the Live at the Garden Summer Concert Series, monthly wine tastings, family activities, art exhibits, classes, workshops, and more.
