Bed-to-Blouse Gusto Finishing Spray

“My sister recently gifted me this Gusto Bed-to-Blouse finishing spray! It smells amazing and would be a great gift or a little happy for yourself!” — Erin Wilson, Birmingham Market Leader

Clipa Bag Hanger

This purse hook may be my new go-to gift. It’s one of those things you wonder how you went without for so long! It’s lightweight and easy to carry, stays put, and holds up to 33 pounds. (If your purse weighs more than that, it’s time to reevaluate.) I like the matte gold finish, but there are nine to choose from.” — Alissa Harb, Managing Editor

Maple Goods Granola

“I always start my day with a high-protein yogurt bowl topped with granola. The base of my bowl stays the same: frozen blueberries, vanilla Greek yogurt, vanilla protein powder, honey, and a drizzle of peanut butter. However, the granola frequently changes, as I am always searching for one that tastes good and is made from all-natural ingredients — which can be a tall order.

Lately, my go-to has been the Franklin, TN-based brand Maple Goods. I don’t know how they do it, but this is the only pure-ingredient granola that tastes good enough to eat straight from the bag (which I often do). My favorite is the cranberry — but honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Plus, it makes me happy to support a local, female-owned business that cares as much about what I put in my body as I do.” — Bonny Osterhage, Associate Editor & Sponsored Content Specialist

Yesteryear by Caro Claire Burke

“Yes, this book has been on all the must-read lists this summer, and for good reason! It’s a captivating story that explores the expectations placed on women and mothers, and the extremes some will go to in order to live up to what modern culture tells us is the ideal.

It also takes a fascinating look at the unrelenting grip of influencer culture, both on the women creating and maintaining the image and on those of us consuming it. Underneath it all, it leaves you questioning how much of that ideal is real, how much is carefully constructed, and what desperation can drive someone to do to maintain it.” — Mandy Learn, Louisville Market Leader

Murder 101

“If you love true crime with a twist, Murder 101 should be on your watchlist. It’s a fascinating three-part docuseries that follows an inspiring Tennessee high school sociology teacher and his students as they take on a decades-old cold case, uncovering new leads in the infamous “Redhead Murders” from the 1980s.

Beyond the intrigue of the case itself, it’s an unexpectedly uplifting look at curiosity, determination, and what young people can accomplish when they’re given the chance. It left me with a whole new appreciation for what the younger generation is capable of! You can stream it on Prime Video.” — Jenna von Oy Bratcher, Editorial Operations Manager & Lead Content Editor

ReFresh Eye Brightener

“I love this eye brightener because it feels light yet gives me just the right amount of coverage for everyday wear. I was surprised by how well it conceals and brightens my under-eye area without feeling heavy. It’s by RMS Beauty, a clean beauty brand I really like because their makeup feels more like skincare. And the fact that it has SPF 30 makes it even better.” — Mary Breen, Web Designer

The Odyssey

“I saw The Odyssey opening weekend, and I genuinely haven’t stopped thinking (or talking) about it since! It has sent me down a Greek mythology rabbit hole, inspired a reading list (starting with Madeline Miller’s Circe), and has me glued to every online conversation about the film. The epic storytelling, incredible cast, and so many themes relevant to our culture today — it’s a masterpiece!” — Kayla Sanders, Director of Market Expansion

Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reid

“As a longtime Taylor Jenkins Reid fan, Atmosphere is my favorite book of hers yet. Set against the backdrop of NASA’s Space Shuttle program, the story follows Joan Goodwin, a physics professor who impulsively applies to become an astronaut and finds herself among a memorable group of other candidates.

While the space setting was undoubtedly fascinating, it was the characters, emotional depth, and sapphic romance that left me intrigued until the last page. Equal parts inspiring and heartbreaking, Atmosphere explores identity, ambition, sacrifice, and what it means to finally let yourself want more out of life.” — Brianna Goebel, Associate Editor & Sponsored Content Manager

Mississippi Candle Company Cleaning Products

“I recently tried Mississippi Candle Company’s all-purpose cleaner and mop soap, and I am hooked! I love a really good-smelling cleaning product, but most of them are SO toxic. The products from Mississippi Candle Company are a great, cleaner alternative to Mrs. Meyer’s products (hello, greenwashing!).

I’ve been on a mission to use cleaner products in our home, so I use Environment Working Group (EWG) to check things. While Mississippi Candle Company was not on EWG when I heard about them, I asked ChatGPT to rate their all-purpose cleaner and mop soap as if they were EWG, and it rated them in the A’s while Mrs. Meyers remained in the C’s. I’m sold!” — Lauren Cummings, Operations Manager
