Louisville’s Newest Exclusive Facial Treatment
Offered by only a handful of U.S. doctors — now including one doctor right here in Louisville — this new treatment on the skincare scene aims to improve both the appearance and overall health of your skin. Learn more about this innovative treatment!
These days, there are plenty of options available for those who want to look younger: serums, creams, fillers, injectables, surgical procedures, and even supplements. These solutions aren’t one-size-fits-all — and it’s important to consult with professionals to determine the best fit for you — but we love staying in the know on the latest options. So, when we caught wind of an exclusive new treatment coming to Louisville, we asked one of our writers to sit in on a private training session to learn all about it. Coming with a hefty price tag of $6,500, this certainly isn’t your average facial, but the unique method and its reported results are intriguing.
Here’s an overview of what you can expect. If you try this treatment out yourself, send us a message! We’d love to hear about your experience and your results.
As we all know, wrinkles, loss of elasticity, and uneven skin tone become more common as we age. But it isn’t age itself that causes these unwanted effects. All these things occur as the cells in our face become damaged — not only by age but also from poor nutrition, UV exposure, and environmental toxins.
According to Beverly Hills-based MD William Seeds, this new treatment — called Stemulation™ — utilizes the patient’s own stem cells to work from the inside out, aimed not just at your appearance, but at the overall health of your face.
Stemulation™ is a unique, patent-pending procedure offered by only a handful of doctors in the U.S. — and Dr. Carl Paige of Louisville’s Medical Transformation Center is one of those doctors. This is currently the ONLY location in our state offering this new treatment.
Dr. Seeds took a trip to Kentucky to train Dr. Paige and his staff on the groundbreaking treatment, preparation for which begins about three months before the procedure itself. Dr. Paige works with patients beforehand on a “Personal Transformation Plan” to improve metabolism, control inflammation, and ensure stem cell production is optimized and the facial tissue is primed to accept the stem cells and generate new tissue.

Once a patient is ready, the 90-minute outpatient procedure takes place. Dr. Paige extracts the patient’s stem cells from their bone marrow, then reintroduces the healthy cells back into the face. “It’s all in a closed system,” Dr. Seeds explains. “The stem cells are extracted and kept in a vial. Nothing leaves the closed environment that they’re in.”
He adds that nothing needs to be done to the stem cells between the transfer because everything necessary to optimize their quality has been done beforehand, during the Personal Transformation Plan. “People think putting them in culture or adding things will make them better,” he says, “but we’re doing that before they’re even taken. Your cells are designed for you … and we’re making them healthy [beforehand].”

The procedure is reported to produce natural collagen to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, even out skin tone, and improve elasticity, all with long-lasting results.
“It works from the inside out,” Dr. Paige says. “It’s not just slapping some nice paint on the outside or filling something to make it look different for a while. That wouldn’t sustain a healthy system.”
Dr. Seeds adds that Stemulation™ is not a quick, temporary fix; it provides lasting, long-term results. “It’s the beginning of a transformation,” he says. “[Patients start seeing] results within the first few weeks.”
Terri Paige — co-founder and CEO of Medical Transformation Center and wife to Dr. Paige — says she can confirm those results. She was the first person in Kentucky to undergo the procedure and says that, though the injections felt a bit tedious, she is thrilled that she had the procedure done.
“The two-week spot is where it shifts,” she says. “There’s a lovely glow; my face feels tighter and smoother, my pores are smaller, [and] my wrinkles are less deep.” Terri adds that her fading sunspots have been one of the most noticeable effects, and an added benefit of the treatment is that her skin will now be more resistant to UV damage, the way it was in her younger years.

Following the $6,500 procedure, Dr. Paige provides patients with specially compounded regenerative therapies and other recovery protocols, which have been crafted to supercharge the healthy cells and encourage tissue regeneration. This includes eating a healthy diet, eliminating foods that cause inflammation, drinking lots of water, and getting regular exercise.
“This is the future of medicine,” Dr. Seeds says, emphasizing that the way toward lasting change — after virtually any procedure — is to truly care for your body and consider your overall wellbeing. “No one’s going to take care of your body but you. That’s what this is all designed for. It’s to educate people to become focused on real health.”
