PinGreat options for anyone who wants to add a little glam to an ordinary room. The red chair pops against the gold cart and I love the lamp on the lucite bar cart. It really warms it up a bit. www.thestyleumbrella.com
With their inherent sophistication and retro, Hollywood glamor, bar carts offer a simple solution to anyone who wants to add extra flair to a room without the expense of purchasing a substantial piece of furniture. And, with their recent popularity, you can find them just about anywhere. Antique stores and estate sales are great places to find vintage ones, and stores like Crate and Barrel, Shop Society Social, and Ballard Designs carry great reproductions. They can be used strictly for housing your spirits, or add a lamp and you have a great end table. Plus, you can wheel them wherever the party is, and that is hard to beat!

To create a bar in or on a piece of furniture, all you need is a little bit of creativity and great accessories. You can use an old armoire, a chest, a table, a kitchen counter top, or even a tall shelf on a book shelf. Wherever it is, just make it inviting by going the extra style mile using trays to organize your bottles and glasses. Add fresh flowers, small lamps, pretty cocktail napkins or decorative bowls to house bottle openers or tongs. And donβt forget the ice buckets, vintage decanters and shakers β vintage or new. You can keep it traditional with pretty bottles on a tray and you best glasses, or get a little more eclectic and mix it up with some of your favorite trinkets. Either way, a bar in any form is going to be a hit with guests!
