As the state of Alabama begins to safely reopen, local businesses are opening in various capacities in compliance with the appropriate recommendations. At StyleBlueprint, we partner with some of the city’s best local businesses, so we want to keep you updated on which of those stores and restaurants are open and under what guidelines so that you can safely shop and support local. Here’s what’s open in Birmingham!

A’Mano is welcoming three customers at a time and requiring shoppers to wear a face mask. Customers can also schedule a private shopping appointment by calling the store, sending them a message via Instagram or emailing [email protected]. They are also continuing to offer direct shipping, local delivery and curbside pickup. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cantley & Company

2821 2nd Ave. South, Birmingham, AL 35233 • (205) 324-2400

Visit the beautiful showroom at Cantley & Company Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. Owner Cyndy Cantley is taking both in-person and FaceTime appointments. Call the store to schedule a design consultation. Also note that face coverings are required in Pepper Place.

The Cook Store

Shop The Cook Store in Mountain Brook during regular business hours, which are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. No more than six customers may be in the store at one time, and masks are highly encouraged. They also offer curbside pickup and free delivery. Owner Wesley Lassen is available at (205) 420-9641 for calls or text messages to place orders.

Dorm Decor

Dorm Decor is open and full of gorgeous items ready for purchase. Shop the showroom Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Occupancy is limited and facial coverings are required. Call the showroom with any questions or to request a FaceTime design consultation.

Henhouse Antiques

1900 Cahaba Road, Birmingham, AL 35223 • (205) 918-0505

Henhouse Antiques invites customers back to their store Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., or by appointment. Not ready to shop in-store? You can visit their website to see what they have available and pick up your items curbside. If you have questions about prices, measurements or need more photos of their shipments, call (205) 936-5416 — and the Henhouse team is happy to help.

Kendra Scott

Kendra Scott is offering limited capacity walk-in shopping as well as curbside pickup. Face coverings are not required but highly encouraged. Kendra Scott is also enforcing touchless shopping and not accepting cash payments at this time. Store hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, noon to 6 p.m. As always, online shopping is also available.

The Lingerie Shoppe

The Lingerie Shoppe is open and ready to see their beloved customers. The store asks all visitors to wear a face mask and also invites customers to shop virtually. They still offer curbside pickup and “over the Mountain” delivery if you’re not quite ready to visit the store. Lolo French Antiques

Lolo French Antiques is open Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They are carefully following CDC guidelines, and face masks are required inside of the store. They are also still offering a “no contact” local delivery option for small items that Lolo will leave at the doorstep. Call the store to place a curbside pickup or local delivery order.

Manhattan South

Shop with peace of mind at Manhattan South Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are following strict guidelines to ensure customer and employee safety. You can also shop anytime online.

The Mercantile by Miller

The Mercantile by Miller is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for all of your gifting and home decor needs. They are practicing social distancing and increasing sanitation practices. Customers can also shop online 24/7 for curbside pickup or shipping.

dg Restaurant

dg Restaurant is now open for indoor dining during lunch Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner service is offered Monday through Thursday, 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The bar opens at 4:30 p.m. Additionally, dg offers takeout, curbside service and delivery for both menus. Birmingham Botanical Gardens

As of Monday, June 15, the Birmingham Botanical Gardens will open to the public once again. From June 15 through June 30, the Gardens will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day of the week, with access limited to the front entrance gates. Visitors are encouraged to practice social distancing. Face masks are required when interacting with others in the Gardens and for entering the Garden Center. The Birmingham Park & Recreation Board will reassess the Gardens’ hours, which are normally sunrise to sunset, on July 1.

The Birmingham Zoo

The Birmingham Zoo welcomes back their loyal visitors! Reservations are required and can be made online. All admission tickets will be timed and issued in 30-minute time blocks. Credit cards will be the only accepted form of payment throughout the zoo. Please note that anyone visiting the zoo over the age of 2 will be required to wear face coverings per the City of Birmingham ordinance.

Pizitz Food Hall

Enjoy the Pizitz Food Hall once again. Seating arrangements in the Food Hall have been updated to help support social distancing. The Courtyard is also open for those who wish to take their meal to-go. Visit their website and follow Pizitz on Instagram for updated information on open restaurants and hours of operation.

Regions Field

While the baseball season may be delayed, Regions Field is still finding ways to keep Birminghamians busy this summer. The Summer Event Series is underway and provides fun, family-friendly activities every weekend through August 7. Cheer on the over/under 35 baseball teams of the Central Alabama Baseball Association and Birmingham Metro Baseball League each Thursday and Friday night. Admission is free, but reservations are required as the capacity in Regions Field is limited. Every Saturday (except for July 4), attendees can kick back and enjoy Babe Ruff’s Saturday Cinema series. Sit on the field or in the stands, and watch a classic film as you chow down on your favorite ballpark snacks. Regions Field’s highly anticipated fireworks show also makes its return on select dates. The SwitchYard is also open for dinner service in their outdoor dining area Thursday through Sunday.
