An oasis in the heart of Memphis, the Memphis Botanic Garden consists of 96 acres with 30 specialty gardens. My Big Backyard family garden offers a place for jumping, splashing, digging, creating, and discovering the joys of time spent outdoors. The iconic Seijaku-en, Japanese Garden of Tranquility, is a popular attraction, with its recognizable red drum bridge. Their gardens also provide beautiful settings for visitors to enjoy, as well as scenic spots for special events and weddings. The Memphis Botanic Garden invites everyone to join them for a year-round schedule of special events and programs, including the Live at the Garden Summer Concert Series, family activities, art exhibits, classes, workshops, and more.

The fun doesn’t stop when the weather cools! From late November through December, the Memphis Botanic Garden transforms into a glowing winter wonderland. Holiday Wonders at the Garden offers dazzling light displays for all ages to enjoy!
