Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery
Located in Marathon Village, Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery takes visitors back in time from the moment they step through the front door. Brothers Andy and Charlie Nelson resurrected a nearly 115-year-old family recipe to create Nelson’s Green Brier Tennessee Whiskey. Through the distillery and whiskey itself, the Nelson brothers share the story of their family’s magical, adventurous, and awe-inspiring past. When you visit the distillery, you can sample their original whiskey and many additional offerings, including modern-day high-rye bourbons, a caramel pecan liqueur, and more. The distillery also offers lunch Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Brunch on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tour this space and hear the exciting stories of the Nelson family’s past, how Nelson’s Green Brier Distillery and its whiskey were born, and learn all about the meticulous process behind creating an authentic Tennessee Whiskey.
