When the weather is beautiful, patio dining beckons. But perhaps you want patio dining with a view β€” a rooftop view. Yes, sometimes we really do want to be above it all. Here are a few of Nashville’s best rooftop bars to consider next time you want an elevated experience.

Note: When we first compiled this list in 2015, there were just five rooftop bars included. We keep updating the list every few months, and as of January 2020, we’re up to 27 that we like, all for different reasons. But one thing is for sure, Nashville sure does enjoy eating and drinking on a rooftop. If you have a bucket list for spring and summer 2020, be sure to add some of these to it.
