While most of Brian Miller’s teammates were over the moon after winning Vanderbilt University’s first College World Series baseball championship last July in Omaha, NE, Miller wasn’t through with big drama moments. After the Commodores clinched the win, the pitcher dropped to one knee on the field and asked his girlfriend, Megan Bonds, to marry him. Back home, after that magic moment, Brian graduated from college, was drafted by the Tampa Bay Rays and began training. Megan continued her studies at Belmont (she graduates this August), all the while planning for their big day. The all-American storybook tale only got sweeter with the December wedding and reception at Mint Springs Farm, a wedding venue in Nolensville, TN.

Join us as we get to peek inside the magical wedding after so many of us saw that proposal, which went viral in social media and many news outlets.

Megan loved the formfitting, fit-and-flare gown, but she helped design the bodice, which was custom-made for her by Claudia Veres. It featured an off-the-shoulder neckline with lace sleeves. She carried a rose-festooned bouquet.
