Watkins Young Artist Programs help kids and teens develop creatively as they cultivate artistic skills. Summer at White Brick Art Studio will provide a variety of fun learning opportunities. At camp, young artists will develop and apply new creative skills by participating in lighthearted creative competition, making and decorating a dollhouse, learning the art of interior design, or learning techniques to develop and enhance a personal sketchbook practice. Summer at White Brick Art Studio offers small, well-planned visual arts camps for artists ages 5-13. Each intensive session will be led by two certified art educators and will be limited to 10 students. Small groups allow for individual attention to each artist with a fun group dynamic. Adventure Science Center is gearing up for a creative, innovative, quirky, fun, and educational year of camps for kids in grades K-6th. Weekly sessions explore themes your children know and love while introducing STEAM concepts to ignite their curiosity. The science center inspires a life-long passion for learning and fosters an environment for creative problem solving, teamwork, and critical thinking through hands-on activities, exciting experiments, and scientific explorations. Children will emerge with new friends and a newfound passion for learning in action.

Historic Travellers Rest offers a variety of exciting and unique summer camps each year, where campers turn history into an adventure and enjoy the next best thing to traveling back in time. They offer a safe, fun, and exciting atmosphere for children ages 7 to 16 who find history, archaeology, storytelling, arts and crafts, and the great outdoors a blast to study and learn. All camps are located on the grounds of the oldest historic home open to the public in Nashville, Tennessee, and focus on a different historical era or theme. Week-long day camps from the end of May to early August offer a low camper-to-counselor ratio with no more than 20 campers per session and no more than 35 campers on the spacious 8-acre property at a time. They also offer convenient early care and after-care hours for busy parents. Historic Travellers Rest staff cherish the opportunity to inspire the next generation of historians, archaeologists, historical artisans, and storytellers. It is their mission that, through history and education, your children will emerge from camp with new friends and a greater love for the past! This year’s summer camps are being funded by the generosity of Marlene & Spencer Hays Foundation.

At Harpeth Hall, they do everything that girls like to do! Whether it is serving a tennis ball or serving others, catching bugs or catching basketballs, stringing a violin or stringing gemstones, Harpeth Hall summer camps offer adventures in academics, athletics, and the arts. They believe that learning new things starts with trying new things, and their variety of summer activities gives girls opportunities to do what they love and discover more passions.

At Harpeth Hall, girls can learn more about women in science, combine engineering and creative design as ARTchitects, become printmakers, go on adventure hikes, and experience kitchen chemistry. In addition, select middle school and high school students from across Middle Tennessee can apply to participate in the STEM Summer Institute — Harpeth Hall’s premier research-based program where girls use the engineering design process to solve real-world problems as they create, build, and test prototype solutions. Rising 6th grade students can also apply to join Harpeth Hall’s newest summer program, SPARK, which was created to ignite the joy of learning, inspire academic and personal growth, and celebrate the whole girl as she makes new discoveries and creates supportive friendships in a small cohort of learners.

MBA is home to one of the largest camp programs in the Southeast. They offer over 130 different options with camps starting for campers as young as four years old.
