The Beauty Shop's Grilled Romaine Salad
Ingredients
- 2 heads of romaine cleaned and cut in half lengthwise
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Kosher salt
- Pepper
- 2 heirloom tomatoes preferably yellow and red, cut into small chunks
- 10 scallions skins removed, thinly cut on the bias
- 10 slices of bacon baked until crisp and brushed with maple syrup
- 10 oz gorgonzola or blue cheese crumbled
- Candied pecans store-bought
- Blue cheese dressing store-bought
Instructions
- Once the romaine is cut in half, drizzle with a little olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the romaine over a hot grill or grill pan until lightly charred.
- Transfer romaine to a platter or plate and drizzle with your favorite store-bought creamy blue cheese dressing.
- Top with even layers of the remaining ingredients, and enjoy!
