A Little History

How did we get here? Lauren Williams and Teresa Bailey, cofounders of Wealth of a Woman, will explore the history behind women’s relationship with money and how that history continues to influence us today.

Candid Conversation

Then we’ll bring the conversation into the present with a panel of prominent Louisville women sharing their experiences and perspectives on money, careers, business, wealth, and the conversations we don’t always have.

Presentation: Why Is It So Hard for Women to Talk About Money?

Lauren Williams and Teresa Bailey, founders of Wealth of a Woman, will open the morning with a presentation exploring the real history behind women’s relationship with money and the cultural forces that have shaped how women earn, save, invest, build wealth, and talk about it.

Their presentation will set the stage for a broader conversation about where we are today and what can happen when women begin talking more openly about money.

Amanda Dare is the founder of Woman-Owned Wallet, a community dedicated to helping women build wealth through connection, education, and entrepreneurship.

A serial entrepreneur and podcast host, Amanda is known for candid conversations about money and her passion for empowering women to take greater control of their financial futures.
