Memphis may be famous for barbecue, but local wine lovers know that there are plenty of reasons to raise a glass across the city. While there aren’t many traditional wine bars in the 901, several local restaurants, including Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar, Bari Ristorante e Enoteca, Amelia Gene’s, Chez Philippe, and Southern Social, all earned Wine Spectator’s 2026 Award of Excellence for their wine programs.

Whether you’re looking for a cozy spot for a glass, a special bottle to take home, or a wine-centric event to put on your calendar, here’s where to start.

No Comment Wine Bar

The atmosphere is part of the fun: retro-inspired decor, neon, intimate tables, and a menu that includes tinned fish, caviar, and other playful accompaniments. Memphis Magazine even recognized No Comment’s unexpected success in its 2026 restaurant poll. The people have spoken!
