The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum officially unveiled its newest exhibition, American Currents: State of the Music, on March 18. Now on display through January 2027 in the museum’s ACM Gallery, the annual exhibit offers a wide lens on the genre’s past year, celebrating major musical developments, standout artists, and unforgettable events that shaped the industry.

This year’s installment spotlights the musicians and songwriters who made waves in 2025, from established icons to rising stars. Highlights include Tyler Childers, Charley Crockett, Sierra Ferrell, Vince Gill, Alison Krauss and Union Station, Lainey Wilson, and many more. Fans can also see objects and memorabilia tied to the Biscuits & Banjos Festival, Jason Carter, Michael Cleveland, and other key figures.

The exhibition also features a rich mix of video highlights, showcasing performances and collaborations such as Julien Baker and TORRES, BigXthaPlug and Bailey Zimmerman, Alison Brown and Steve Martin, and Brandon Lake and Jelly Roll, alongside footage from Luke Combs, Farm Aid, Riley Green, and the Grand Ole Opry.

In the “Unbroken Circle” section, visitors can explore musical lineages and connections, featuring pairings like Ken Pomeroy and John Denver, Carter Faith and Tammy Wynette, and Muscadine Bloodline and Turnpike Troubadours. The exhibit also recaps the year’s chart-topping albums, singles, and highest-grossing tours, with interactive touchscreens highlighting key award show moments.
