Even if you don’t live near the ocean, you can bring a little coastal living into your home decor. Loyal readers know I am a little gaga over having coral or shells in most rooms. This is probably my answer to adding “life” to a room that I can’t kill, like my poor houseplants… Some readers have second homes near the beach and get a good dose of coastal chic when staying at their home away from home.
If you like the thought of incorporating some intentional calmness of the sea to your home, and the certain joie de vivre that comes with it, there is plenty to choose from. Here a sampling of what we have found, as well as some pretty room photos for inspiration.
