Beautiful Winter Gardens
Even a winter garden can be pretty with proper planning and good design. Today's post is filled with beautiful examples to prove just that!
Since itβs January, the month I personallyΒ find to be the most depressing of the year, I thought some lovely images of gorgeous gardens might be just what the doctor ordered.Β At first I thought this required spring, summer or fall gardens.Β But, then I realized that with the right attention to detail, your garden can actually be gorgeous β in winter.

Take note of all the textures featured today.Β The sculptures, stone pathways, gorgeous walls, gates, the beauty of winter trees showing off their bark and regal branches interspersed with evergreen and berries are enough to make me look around and think that even January provides a lovely time to embrace our gardens.
These images capture the work of the esteemed Page|Duke Landscape Architects. A nationally known entity, their work has been featured in Veranda, Architectural Digest, Traditional Home, Southern Living, Southern Accents and on HGTV.
Note: One of our favorite places for further home and garden inspiration is coming up soon: the Antiques and Garden Show. Be sure to mark Feb 10-12th as the time head to Nashville and be inspired with ideas for your own home. For more details on this show, including the lectures and demonstrations, click here. It is going to be fabulous!
