Spring Outing at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage
Guests are invited to celebrate a beloved tradition at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage during Spring Outing, an annual luncheon on the lawn that supports the preservation and ongoing operations of this historic site. This year’s event is especially significant, marking 125 years of Spring Outing alongside the 250th anniversary of the United States, while honoring the legacy of the women who founded the Ladies’ Hermitage Association in 1889 — now known as the Andrew Jackson Foundation — and those who have continued its mission. The program features keynote speakers Norah O’Donnell and Kate Andersen Brower, whose recently released book We the Women: The Hidden Heroes Who Built America highlights the often-overlooked contributions of women throughout U.S. history since 1776. The event takes place from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., with tickets priced at $300. thehermitage.com
