“The Shot Heard Round The World” A 250th American Revolution Event

 

On April 19, 2025, from 4:30 to 8:00 p.m., history comes to life at Lexington’s Old Mill Pond Trail as the community is invited to gather for “The Shot Heard Round the World”, a special 250th-American Revolution anniversary celebration of the Battle of Lexington and Concord. This commemorative event honors the rich history behind Lexington County’s namesake with an evening of engaging programs, music, and more. At this FREE family-friendly event, attendees can expect a meaningful and immersive experience that highlights the enduring legacy of America’s fight for independence.

The event will feature: Living history exhibits, lantern tours, cannon demonstrations, hands-on history activities, and a spirited tribute to the “Shot Heard Round The World” with a locally crafted cinnamon whiskey from Hollow Creek Distillery. Learn more HERE.
