Recede

On Thursday, September 18, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m., Saint Elle in Nashville will host an evening of resilience, remembrance, and renewal as artists from North Carolina and Tennessee come together one year after Hurricane Helene. What was once destruction has been met with creation, expressed through songs, stories, poems, and paintings that reflect both the heartbreak and hope of communities still in recovery. Nearly a year later, families are returning home and new beginnings are taking root, yet many roads remain broken, some neighbors still sleep in tents and campers, and quiet grief continues to linger alongside progress. This gathering unites voices across state lines to honor that ongoing journey and to stand in solidarity the weekend before the storm’s first anniversary. All proceeds from the evening will support Woven Philanthropy and the long-term recovery groups that remain steadfast in walking with Western North Carolina. Tickets are $50, though guests are warmly invited to attend using the promo code “family” if cost is a barrier. The event will be held at Saint Elle, located at 1420 3rd Ave S #101, Nashville, TN 37210. Reservations can be HERE.

Cost: $50
