Becky Suss: The Dutch House

This exhibition of 10 new paintings by American artist Becky Suss was inspired by author Ann Patchett’s novel, The Dutch House, which centers on a fictional mansion in a suburb of Philadelphia. By interpreting the literary details from the book, Becky recounts memories shared by the novel’s two adult siblings as it relates to their upbringing and complex relationships within the context of their family home. The exhibit is open during regular Cheekwood hours (Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). The exhibit is free for members, and tickets for non-members range from $19 to $26. cheekwood.org
