In this particularly stressful season of life, it’s important to maintain a normal routine, including getting enough exercise. Working up a sweat for 30 minutes a day increases endorphins while boosting your immune system. Just because you can’t physically attend your favorite fitness class doesn’t mean you can’t get your workout in. If you want to get your body moving while responsibly social distancing, here are eight local Birmingham fitness studios offering virtual classes.
Local Birmingham Studios Offering Virtual Fitness Classes
Aero Joe
One of Birmingham’s premier Pilates studios, Aero Joe hosts classes that engage muscles with intentional movements meant to stretch and tone. This studio — located in Pepper Place — helps participants gain strength, see muscle definition and gain a deep understanding of how incredible the human body is. Aero Joe is offering virtual private lessons and group classes via Zoom. Group classes are $20 each or $80 for five classes. Attendees can join live or watch later on-demand. The studio is also offering one free virtual class each Thursday. Register for group classes here, or contact Aero Joe directly for private lesson options.
