On a recent quick getaway with the women in my family, we sampled the most delicious martini at Neiman Marcus. Made with their popular Spiced Iced Tea, it’s just the ticket for fall and would make for an excellent start to your Thanksgiving Day celebration.

This is Neiman Marcus' signature cocktail for the 2013 holiday season—a delicious blend made with their famous Spiced Tea (recipe below).

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Mint leaves
  • ounces Maker’s 46
  • ounces Neiman Marcus Spiced Iced Tea
  • 1 ounce Peach Puree Monin
  • 1/2 ounce Lemon Juice
  • 1 Mint Sprig
  • Ice
  • Cocktail Shaker
  • Martini Glass

Instructions
 

  • Put first 5 items into cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  • Cap, shake for 10 seconds and strain into a martini glass.
  • Garnish with mint sprig resting on the rim of the glass.

Neiman Marcus Spiced Tea

Neiman's famous Spiced Tea—Enjoy alone with an orange or lemon slice to garnish, or blend with Maker's 46, fresh mint and peach puree for a Maker's 46 Martini (recipe above).

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cinnamon sticks about 2 inches long
  • 3 whole cloves
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 4 English Breakfast or Irish Breakfast tea bags or orange pekoe tea bags
  • 1/4 cup powdered Tang or other orange-flavored powdered beverage mix
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions
 

  • Place 6½ cups of water in a saucepan and add cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg.
  • Bring to a boil, turn heat down to low, cover the pan, and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and add the tea bags.
  • Let the tea bags steep for 2 to 3 minutes, or up to 5 minutes for a stronger brew.
  • Strain the tea into a clean saucepan, stir in the Tang and almond extract, and let cool to room temperature before refrigerating.
