This ritual warrants just the right cocktail, so today we bring you a Hunter and Huntress libation that will warm you up from the inside out, whether you are emerging from a day in the woods, or laying down your spear on a Friday night after a long work week!
The Hunter’s version is super simple. Start with an old-fashioned glass filled with ice. Add in whiskey and cherry brandy. Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
The Hunter Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz whiskey
- 1/2 oz cherry brandy
- maraschino cherries for garnish

Preparation:
- Pour the whiskey and cherry brandy into an old-fashioned glass with ice.
- Stir well.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry or two.
For the female hunter whose been trekking through the fields in the cool autumn air, this cocktail will take the chill out of her bones.
The Huntress Cocktail
Ingredients:
- 1 oz bourbon whiskey
- 1 oz cherry liqueur
- 1 oz cream or milk
- splash of triple sec

- Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled old-fashioned glass.
- Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
