Middle Tennessee is peppered with plenty of retailers offering up antique and vintage treasures. But in recent months, I’ve perfected what I’m calling a “Vintage Retail Trail,” which includes eight Nashville vintage stores clustered in three distinct areas of town. Start in whichever area of town is most convenient for you, refuel with coffee and snacks as needed, and you’ve got yourself the makings of a nice little Saturday.

This list is focused on furniture and home decor, though many of these shops also offer some clothing and jewelry. Nashville’s vintage clothing stores deserve an article of their own — which they will receive! Stay tuned for that in the coming weeks.

East Nashville

Lykke Haus Curated Vintage

Location: 490 East Trinity Lane
More Info: instagram.com

Lykke Haus Curated Vintage is a collaborative showroom, which means that its wares are offered up by a variety of vendors — but true to the shop’s name, the selection is carefully curated and displayed. Co-founders Lauren Swedenborg and Rachel Westphall have years of experience in interior design and aim for Lykke Haus to be a source of inspiration to shoppers.

You’ll find everything here, from midcentury furniture and glassware to live potted plants, and even if you don’t walk away with a purchase, the inspirational element of this space is real.

Paloma Vintage Goods

Location: 3109 Gallatin Pike
More Info: palomavintagegoods.com

Paloma Vintage Goods owner and curator Bree Chavez-Sparks stocks this breezy little shop with hand-picked treasures from all over the U.S., Mexico, and Europe. During the week, Paloma is open by appointment only, but Bree keeps regular shop hours on Saturdays and Sundays, making it perfect for a weekend vintage shopping crawl.

While this list is focused on home goods, it bears mentioning that Paloma is a bit of a double whammy — it’s connected to Torres Vintage, which focuses on elevated vintage clothing and accessories.

East Nashville Vintage & Antiques Mall

Location: 3407 Gallatin Pike
More Info: instagram.com

This stop is a traditional antique mall, so it’s ideal for shoppers who love the thrill of the hunt. The building offers over 10,000 square feet of shopping space, packed to the gills with booths managed by various vendors. You can expect to find anything from antique wood chests to 1970s character lunch boxes.

Melrose + Berry Hill

Patina + Co.

Location: 2535 8th Avenue South
More Info: patinaandco.com

A stroll around Patina + Co. is like visiting a charming country estate — totally dreamy. The shop is co-owned by longtime friends Stacy Williams and Monica Lokkesmoe, who aim to make antiques accessible to all. As you browse, you’ll find a large selection of high-quality wood furniture pieces sourced primarily from Europe, artwork, accessories, and even the duo’s signature collection of hand-poured candles.

GasLamp Antiques & GasLamp Too

Location: 100 Powell Place, Ste 200 + 128 Powell Place
More Info: gaslampantiques.com

Just a quick five-minute drive from Patina + Co., this pair of antique malls represent two stops along the trail — but collectively, this is Nashville’s mecca for antique and vintage home decor. Located in the same tucked-away shopping center off of Powell Avenue, GasLamp and GasLamp Too offer endless rows of vendor booths brimming with treasures. If you only have time to tackle one portion of the trail, this little corner of Berry Hill is your best bet.

While you’re in the neighborhood …

If you still have some steam and are serious about making some purchases, be sure to visit English & Co., an upscale furniture consignment shop located between the two GasLamp locations. Nearby, you’ll also find Southeastern Salvage and Merridian Home Furnishings, which stock both new and antique pieces.

Music Valley (Opry Mills Area)

Dashwood Vintage & Flora

Location: 2416 Music Valley Drive, Suite 115
More Info: dashwoodtn.com

Dashwood Vintage & Flora is a particular favorite of mine because I’ve scored serious deals on beautiful pieces here more than once. While this shop carries a variety of vintage and antiques, there’s a clear focus on midcentury modern furniture, so if that’s the aesthetic you’re after, don’t miss this stop. You can also find various old and new home decor accessories, plus a fun selection of live plants and pottery (hence the “flora” in Vintage & Flora).

Music Valley Antiques & Marketplace

Location: 2416 Music Valley Drive, Suite 126
More Info: musicvalleyantiques.com

Another traditional antique mall setup, Music Valley Antiques & Marketplace couples nicely with a visit to Dashwood Vintage, as they’re located in the same shopping center near Opry Mills Mall (something else to consider if you’re trying to get the most out of your drive to this side of town!). The marketplace features up to 50 booths run by individual vendors, so a hunter’s spirit is required here – but your eye will be sharpened after exploring Dashwood, so you might find a treasure or two!
