Just in time for fall, seasonally-inspired pop-up bars are emerging all over town. From festive beverages and bites to clever (and sometimes haunting) decor, Nashville is offering plenty of opportunities to lean into a good theme. Here are five new pop-ups to enjoy — but stay tuned! We’ll update this list as more experiences are announced.

BarTENN | Wonky Bar

Neighborhood: Downtown
More info: hyatt.com

Holston House is getting downright scrumdiddlyumptious with its newest signature pop-up, the “Wonky Bar.” Through the first weekend in November, BarTENN is transforming into an oompa loompa wonderland, complete with vintage candy, giant flowers and mushrooms, and entertainment. Munch on interactive food bites and sip on fun chocolate factory-inspired cocktails like the Chocolate River (chocolate bourbon, mole bitters, and chocolate) or the Fizzy Lifting Drink (Tanqueray Sevilla, citrus, egg white, and Godiva chocolate liqueur). Ticketed entry takes place Thursday through Saturday and is open to the public (non-ticketed) from Sunday through Wednesday starting at 4 p.m.

If you’re a fan of The Shining, this pop-up should pique your curiosity. The Hidden Bar presents Room 237, an eerie 21+ experience that runs through October 31. Located on the lowest level of the Noelle Hotel, you can look forward to tasty bites and spirited cocktails. Additionally, you can book a stay at Noelle to enjoy a haunted guide to Nashville and a skip-the-line pass for Room 237. Pop-up hours are Sunday through Thursday, 5 p.m. to midnight, and Friday and Saturday, 5 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Fairlane Hotel Penthouse | Emerald City

Neighborhood: Downtown
More info: fairlanehotel.com

The penthouse pop-ups at the Fairlane Hotel continue to dazzle, and the newest one is no exception. Follow the yellow brick road to the neon-lit rooftop of Emerald City, where the Land of Oz has descended upon Music City. Sip on-theme cocktails like the Green Elixir (vodka, midori, orange liqueur, lemon, pineapple, and simple syrup) or Oz-mopolitan (featuring lemon basil vodka, green chartreuse, and absinthe) and enjoy bites like the Munchkin Land Morsels (caramelized onion and goat cheese bites) and Broomstick Brittle.

Side Bar | Apotheca

Neighborhood: Downtown
More info: bode.co

The supernatural abounds at Sidebar’s annual Halloween pop-up, Apotheca, running through October 31 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets can be purchased ahead of your visit or at the door for $12 and include a themed “potion” like the Cadaver (gin, yellow chartreuse, crème de violette, and lemon) or the Grave Mistake (a shot featuring vanilla vodka, passion fruit, and activated charcoal). Additionally, you can enjoy a few small bites like the honey and thyme grilled cheese sandwich. Sip and savor as you experience the eerie, enchanted world of an apothecary from the 17th century, complete with candles, vials, and strange artifacts.
