Are These the BEST Halloween Yards in Nashville?
See these fabulous Halloween yards that locals have created. Spooky, funny and ready for Friday night, but are they the best? You decide!
We are so excited for Halloween this year! With it falling on a Friday, it seems to have more excitement than in other years. We’ve scouted out some of the best spooky and fun Halloween yards to amp up your excitement, as well. While we don’t list addresses, we did list general areas of town. And, as there are only so many of us, we couldn’t hit every neighborhood, but we did visit several that are known for an above-average Halloween spirit.
So we ask you, are these the best? Surely we missed several amazing ones. Send us a photo at [email protected] so we can add some late submissions to this post!
Enjoy!
Hillsboro/West End & Belmont
By far the biggest bang for our gas buck was to drive the streets of the Hillsboro/West End and Belmont neighborhoods, with particular emphasis on Belmont, Cedar, Fairfax and Oakland. There are really fun displays all over, so try some of the other streets in these neighborhoods as well.

Green Hills and a bit of Belle Meade
One surefire street for fun décor is Estes. As so many travel it daily, the residents do their share to entertain passers-by Others homes were found scattered throughout the vast area.

Richland/Central/Whitland
This neighborhood is known for fabulous candy and Halloween spirit. Kids by the hundreds trick-or-treat in this area with plenty of sidewalks to keep them safely out of the street on Halloween night. Many homes are decked out in anticipation of the Friday crowds.

An East Nashville goody
We found this house in East Nashville that made us laugh (check out the witch’s legs sticking straight up in the garden) and also made us say “WOW!” with the abundance of carved jack-o’-lanterns!

A parting thought for the day:
Happy Halloween! If you have any other houses you want us to consider putting up on our Facebook page or possibly adding to this post, send them to us at [email protected].
