“Give us a boy, and we’ll make him stronger, smarter, happier,
and overall, better.”
Located on a pristine 29-acre campus is East Memphis, Presbyterian Day School teaches boys starting at two years-old through sixth grade. The elementary school is one of the largest in the country, providing a space to nurture “the heart, soul, mind and body of each boy.” At PDS, academics focus on “critical and creative thinking skills,” and boys get a “solid foundation of godly values and mind-opening academics in a boy-friendly environment.”
The school’s passion for excellent education can be seen in the variety of programs for students as well as the excellent faculty. Many of the teachers at Presbyterian Day School studied at Harvard’s Project Zero, which aligns the school’s academics with the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century. In addition, Presbyterian Day School’s Building Boys, Making Men program “offers boys a Biblical vision of what it means to be a godly boy and, one day, a godly man.”
