Nashville’s historic Hermitage Hotel is elevating its cultural legacy with a first-of-its-kind collaboration with acclaimed photographer Timothy White. Known for capturing some of the most iconic figures in music, film, and fashion over the past four decades, Timothy brings his evocative, narrative-driven portraits to the hotel’s grand entrance, bar, and signature restaurant, Drusie & Darr by Jean-Georges, turning these spaces into a permanent, living gallery.

The exhibit features 22 portraits of legends, including Bruce Springsteen, Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Jon Bon Jovi, Shania Twain, and Keith Urban — many of whom have personal ties to The Hermitage Hotel itself. Each image tells a story, reflecting both Timothy’s artistic vision and the hotel’s longstanding role as a gathering place for visionaries, artists, and leaders.

“Nashville has always been a place where artistry and storytelling thrive, and The Hermitage Hotel embodies that spirit,” said Timothy White in an official press release. “The Hermitage Hotel is steeped in history and storytelling, which resonates deeply with the narratives I strive to capture in my work. To showcase these portraits here feels like an extension of that history, a dialogue between the past and the present.”

“Timothy White’s portraits capture the same spirit of influence and artistry that has always lived within these walls,” said Dee Patel, Hermitage Hotel Managing Director, in an official press release. “Together, we’re honoring Nashville’s legacy while creating an experience that invites guests and neighbors to see history and culture come alive in a new way.

Visitors to Drusie & Darr can now embark on an intimate journey through four decades of cultural history, featuring rock stars and Hollywood icons — all set against the backdrop of one of Music City’s most celebrated landmarks. The exhibition highlights The Hermitage Hotel’s reputation as both a premier luxury destination and a cultural cornerstone of Nashville, providing locals and travelers alike with a unique opportunity to connect with art, history, and storytelling under one roof.
