The SB Hot List is back, and this time we’re sharing what TV shows we’re currently watching. We’ve got everything from dramas to docuseries, reality TV and more. Here are 10 SB staff members’ picks of binge-worthy television shows.

The SB Hot List: What TV Shows We’re Binging Right Now

Bailey Torkelson, Editorial & Marketing Assistant Manager

I started “The Handmaid’s Tale” for the first time. I always avoided that show because it’s a little too dark for my reality TV-addicted brain (or maybe just dark in a different sense), but in a strange, upside-down way, it’s reminding me things could definitely be worse. Plus, it’s insanely entertaining and the opposite of mindless watching, which I need right now.

Right now I am binging “Westworld” on HBO. I’ve watched the series before, but with the third season launching last week, it’s definitely worth re-watching to catch up on all the twists and turns that happen through the first two seasons. “High Fidelity” on Hulu is also really good. Also, for those behind and haven’t binged yet, “Cheer” is amazing on Netflix! I’m also rewatching classics on Disney+ such as “That’s So Raven.”

Peyton Haecker, Digital Marketing Analyst

Oh, WHERE do I begin? “Outlander” is on Netflix, and the ability to binge seasons on end will quickly cause you to forget time and space. “Very Cavallari” is a guilty pleasure, always. My roommates and I also started re-watching “Grey’s Anatomy” … four times just isn’t enough. And we are about to start a “Star Wars” marathon.

I’m binging “100 Humans” on Netflix. It’s a social experiment with 100 participants. Each episode starts with a hypothesis, and through a series of “experiments,” the three hosts are able to draw a conclusion and establish a theory. It only has one season so far, but it’s really interesting, mildly entertaining, and, for the most part, family-friendly.

Bring on the funny. I’m still binging “Schitt’s Creek” and channeling Stevie on a daily basis. I’m also re-watching all seasons of “Arrested Development” — one of my all-time favorites.

Taylor Justice, Birmingham Client Success Representative

I binge-watch “New Girl” consistently. I’m also introducing my husband to “The Office” for the first time ever!

Megan Casey, Director of Marketing

The OA” – I love both seasons. “Little Fires Everywhere” just started on Hulu (the first three episodes are up) and “Westworld” season 3 started on Sunday, so I’ve been binge-rewatching season 2. All the standup specials on Netflix – perfect to have on while working. “Designated Survivor” is actually good! I was so surprised. I only watched the first season, so that may have changed. I also watch old SNL episodes on Hulu. And if people haven’t seen “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” that’s a great show to binge on Amazon Prime. Next I’m going to start “Last Chance U,” which is the first iteration of “Cheer” that everyone was so obsessed with recently. It follows a small high school football team through their season.

Melissa Thompson, Regional Sales

I just finished “Cheer” on Netflix, and I loved it! Those kids are amazing, and I love the coach, too. I didn’t anticipate liking it as much as I did. “The Durrells in Corfu” on Amazon Prime is about a British family in the 1930s – it’s very light and funny! “Luther” with Idris Elba on Amazon Prime is also very good – a little dark. My husband and I really liked it.

I love a show that can make me laugh, and “Bob’s Burgers” is a classic for me. I’ve lost track of how many times I’ve seen it at this point. I see a little bit of myself in every character, but this go-around has made me realize I might have been Linda Belcher in another life.

The “Babies” documentary series on Netflix is really cool and feel good! Also, not Netflix, but I highly recommend “McMillions” on HBO about the McDonald’s Monopoly scam. Slightly less feel good but SO entertaining — lots of ’90s nostalgia.
