When it comes to breathing new life into your interiors, it can seem like a daunting task to tackle on your own. Simply choosing the right paint color can make your head spin, let alone the perfect combination of pillows or even more impactful, selecting those larger, high-quality investment pieces that will hopefully stand the test of time.
There’s no shame in turning to an expert. Remove the stress and wasted money from the equation by working with Home Inspired on your next home renovation project. Home Inspired is a furniture and interior decor store offering design services and an array of furniture customization options. With more than 1,000 fabric options to choose from and several wood finishes to mix and match, Home Inspired’s wide array of styles can be customized to fit each customer’s personality. And, unlike other furniture stores, Home Inspired offers the option to buy directly from the store floor.
PinThe showroom floor at Home Inspired features a wide array of styles, from elegant and timeless to chic and trendy.PinHome Inspired is proud to carry Rowe upholstery, which is made in the USA just a few states over in Virginia.
“At a lot of stores, you have to order a product, even if you want the same thing you see on the floor, and wait for it to be made and come in,” says Melissa Bates, Home Inspired Store Manager. “At Home Inspired, if you see it on our floor and want it, you can take that particular item home with you. If you do want to choose a different fabric for a couch, chairs and throw pillows or a dark stained base with a painted finish top on your dining table we can order custom product too.”
Once a floor piece is sold, they order new designs in different fabrics to ensure the store always has new and exciting inventory to offer.
In addition to selecting individual furniture pieces, customers can work with the Home Inspired design team to take the stress out of redecorating their home. From the moment the customer walks into the store, the Home Inspired team takes the time to learn about their personal style, functional needs and vision for their project.
Living Room Before
PinThis project began with a hodgepodge of dated furniture pieces the homeowner had collected over the years.
Living Room After
PinClean lines, cool tones and cozy textures intermingle in this living room. The sectional and arm chairs feature gorgeous custom fabrics.
“Usually a customer comes into the store, and we begin the discovery process by asking a few questions,” says Melissa. “If they like the look of the store, and they feel like we would be a good fit, then we set up a consultation at the customer’s house.”
The in-home consultation allows the designer to see the entirety of the customer’s home, as well as the specific spaces they will be working with.
“During the in-home consultation, we talk to the homeowner about the function of the space and how they use it,” says Melissa. “Whether it’s something they use every day or if it’s more of a seating area they use only once in a while, those details make a difference in how we approach the space. We then talk about whether they are planning to keep anything or redesign the entire space. Finally, we talk about budget, because it is best to be straightforward about what we can do with the space for each budget from the beginning.”
The designers use this information to recommend furniture styles, color palettes and décor accents to create a space that is chic and cohesive with the rest of the home. While Home Inspired does not offer paint, flooring or appliances, they will work with the homeowner to choose appropriate items to complement their design.
Dining Nook Before
PinBefore renovation, the furniture was too small for the space.
Dining Nook After
PinHome Inspired opted for a larger table to fill out the space and painted the geometric patterned wall a bright neutral color. This smart look is topped off with a sleek circular chandelier of naked bulbs.
Kitchen Before
PinThe kitchen was fairly modern to start. This was perfect as the homeowner desired a sleeker, more modern design.
Kitchen After
PinHome Inspired spruced up the kitchen with new, cozy stools and kitchen accessories to lend an inviting warmth to the space.
“We talk with the customer to really determine what their style is,” says Melissa. “If they have pictures of things that they like, then that’s always helpful. Sometimes they have a Pinterest board to show us things that have caught their eye, so we can find similar items.”
Home Inspired designers work with all different types of spaces, from living areas and bedrooms to kitchens and bathrooms. The number one priority of Home Inspired is to create a smooth, hassle-free experience for their clients. Once all product is ordered and in hand, the design team completes the installation in just one day, allowing the customer to come home to a brand-new space at the end of the day.
For larger scale projects like full-home redesigns, Home Inspired can work with the customer’s timeline and budget to ensure the end result is beautiful, cohesive and cost-effective, planning out each room of the home and choosing complementary colors, fabrics and décor for a space that is equal parts beautiful and inviting — a space that truly feels like home.

Simply put, working with Home Inspired is the single smartest move you can make when planning your home redesign. Regardless of the customer’s design style, budget or the scale of their project, Home Inspired works with their clients to create a space that is timeless, yet trendy and, most importantly, a reflection of each client’s personality and style.
“We’ve been around for 14 years, and we’ve seen styles come and go,” says Melissa. “We try to suggest classic larger pieces like couches and tables that are beautiful, but won’t go out of style in a few years. We then incorporate trendy smaller pieces to fit the current style. We take this approach, because we know you can’t redo your house every few years with the current style. We want our customers to love their space for years to come, regardless of the current trends.”
Their experience, expertise and eye for timeless style allow Home Inspired to provide beautiful decor for any customer who walks through their doors.
