November 2018 in Nashville: Here’s What to Wear
As we jump into the truest of fall weather, we're looking to dress appropriately for all of the fun happenings in Music City! Here's what to wear to Nashville's most anticipated November events.
We canβt believe itβs almost November! In addition to the excitement of the holiday season ahead, weβre thrilled to have an entire lineup of fun events this month in Nashville. As we look to seriously step up our brunch game at Bacon Eggs & Kegs, dance the night away atΒ Second Harvest Food Bankβs Harvest MoonΒ annual fundraiser and take in the sweetest classic and seasonal hits at theΒ FirstBank Pops Seriesβ Martina McBride: The Joy of Christmas with the Nashville Symphony, weβre ready for a great November!
We were honored to have the strong and beautiful Laurenne Juliet and Lisa Wolfe join us as models. A year ago, Laurenneβs son Ashton was diagnosed with high-risk, category IV medulloblastoma, and Lisaβs daughter Arlie is currently battling leukemia for the second time. Lisa started the blog LIVING FOR EVERYTHING when Arlie was first diagnosed and then created a corresponding nonprofit when she relapsed to share stories similar to her familyβs and to raise money for those who also have children fighting cancer. Lisa luckily brought some of the LIVING FOR EVERYTHING tees to model, as well as her inspiration behind the nonprofit, her daughter Arlie!
To properly prepare for the events of the month, weβve also enlisted the help of an expert team. Using fabulous fall finds from our friends at MODA Boutique, POSH and Pieces, stylistΒ Meredith MathisΒ created some carefully crafted outfits ideal for these three November events. Our trusted go-to for makeup, The Cosmetic Marketβs Sara Jones, created stunning looks for models Lisa and Laurenne. In fitting fall fashion for the days where we want to be both outdoors and in, we headed to the Ranch at Jackalope inΒ Wedgewood HoustonΒ for colorful backdrops, fun views from every angle and appropriate props (brews)!

What to Wear: KnowingΒ that the mid-day event could require a range of suitable ensembles to fit the dayβs weather, we think layering is a great idea. As you feast on the delicious offerings and enjoy the life-sized Yahtzee and, yes, a 16-foot inflatable skillet, you will want to stay comfortable. Opt for a pair of reliable jeans and a great tee, finish the look with a cute leather jacket or cozy sweater, and youβre ready to hit this important celebration.

What to Wear: As soon as someone mentions a band, weβre thinking about all the ways we can ensure our outfit is ready to move. βDressy denimβ attire means that weβre able to incorporate one of our favorite closet staples: the black jean. We also love that an adorable jumpsuit can take us through every season and that a cute blazer can provide even seemingly simple ensembles with an elevated touch. Donβt forget to grab a jacket for extra warmth on the mid-November night!
