Nashville's Delicious Cocktails Under $9Pin

There is no shortage of cocktails or talented mixologists in Nashville. Highly lauded programs exist all over Music City, creating some of the most delicious cocktails in the South. And, now and then, we’re willing to pay the worthy price. However, we are pleasantly surprised when we encounter a cocktail that’s well-crafted andΒ checks out in single-digit dollars during normal hours β€” not a happy hour. Admittedly, they are few and far between, but today we let you in on some of Nashville’s best cocktails at $9 or less.

Bastion

434 Houston St STE 110, Nashville, TN 37203 β€’ (615) 490-8434
Hours: Tuesday through Sunday, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Daily punch, $9; Old Fashioned, $9

Some of Nashville’s best cocktails can be found at Bastion, a popular Wedgewood-Houston watering hole. The cool cocktail bar boasts a comprehensive list of cocktails, including the $9 daily punch and $9 Old Fashioned. Each day, the bartender creates a refreshing punch β€” half of the fun is trying something new and unexpected! Or, if you’re more of a classic cocktail lover, you can’t go wrong with an Old Fashioned.

Strawberry-banana Daiquiri, $9

The new Nashville hotspot, Chopper, is a robot-themed tiki bar. It’s specific, in the best way, and it’s also colorful and fun. The cocktails are served in on-theme robot mugs or topped with tiki-themed accessories, depending on your drink of choice. The strawberry-banana frozen daiquiri is $9 every single day, and it’ll transport you out of Nashville and somewhere tropical. It’s currently the fall seasonal frozen daiquiri, while last season was the Jungle Bird. Try it for just $9!

Downtown Sporting Club’s punch pouches are reminiscent of your childhood favorites, but this iteration packs more of, well, a punch. The tequila, orange and elderflower cocktail is served in an easily sippable pouch complete with a twisty straw. Fruity and slightly floral, it’s an inventive cocktail all around.

The one that started it all! This is Nashville’s hidden gem cocktail, and we’d be lying if we didn’t mention that there was some hesitation around the office about spilling this secret. El Fuego serves fresh-squeezed margaritas for an almost-unbelievable price of $3.99. They’re not just a steal, but they are created from scratch, so the flavor is clean and citrusy and never too sweet. Trust us, you’ll want to try this one!

Paloma, $9.50

Okay, it’s 50 cents above our budget, but since it doesn’t technically tap into double digits, we’re letting this one slide. Saint AΓ±ejo’s Paloma is a classic concoction of Blanco tequila, grapefruit, fresh lime and sparkling water. The tart grapefruit is the perfect pair for your salty chips and creamy queso.
