From fireworks and fireflies to pool days and backyard barbecues, July is extra sweet … despite the heat. This month, we’re stocking up on fresh produce, sipping refreshing cocktails, sprucing up interiors, and wearing the breeziest of outfits to keep cool while enjoying all that summer has to offer. Here’s our July roundup of Nashville FINDS!
HOME & KITCHEN
Placemat
Watermelon and summertime go hand-in-hand, and our resident homewares aficionado Hester & Cook stocks this adorable themed placemat perfect for a summer tablescape. The die-cut paper designs come in a pack of 12, retailing for $29.95.

Peaches
Is it just us, or are fresh peaches the best part of summer?! Gone are the days when Nashvillians had to drive through states to our south to find perfect peaches. The Peach Truck makes it easy with local pickup all around town – from farmers’ markets to malls, churches, and coffee shops. A 12-pound box of hand-picked peaches is $45.

Grilling spices
From birthdays to hostess gifts and Christmas in July, stock up on gifts anyone will love, like the Grill Master Gift Set from Made in TN. Sourced from brands and flavors found around Tennessee, the set includes pineapple and whiskey BBQ sauces, spices, and rubs to up the ante on any cookout. The set is available for $64.95.

Board games
Sticky summer nights are the perfect excuse to whip out a family favorite board game. But, those battered boxes won’t make for an aesthetically pleasing addition to the bookshelf. Grab a sleek and chic upgraded set from White’s Mercantile, which stocks colorful, book-like versions of classic board games for $50 each.

Cocktail mixers
There’s no better way to cool down than with a crisp cocktail (or mocktail). Loveless Cafe makes it easy with their set of three classic cocktail mixers: Bloody Mary, blueberry-flavored moonshine mixer, and the fruity Countrypolitan. The collection of 26-ounce mixers is available for $32, alcohol not included.

Pillows
Local interior designer Paige Williams has launched a collection of throw pillows using fabrics she’s accumulated from sample sales and projects over the years. Paige’s Pillow Party debuted at an anniversary event at Nashville Design Collective, and products are now available for purchase online or in-store at the Paige Williams Interior Design studio in Franklin. Pillows start at $125 each.

APPAREL & ACCESSORIES
Dress
This stunning polyester and cotton blended dress is equal parts flowy and flattering, making it perfect for days in the office or evenings near the ocean. It’s available at Oak Hall for $348, alongside other stunning Brochu Walker designs.

Hat
Fans of Bravo’s Southern Charm will be delighted to hear that Craig Conover’s Sewing Down South has made its way to Nashville. The new 12South outpost has all the branded merchandise and throw pillows that have delighted Charleston for years, including this $34.99 trucker hat that will show your allegiance to the brand.

Charm necklace
Trends always have a way of coming back, and we love to see that charms have returned. Also a Charleston-born brand, Hart now offers its jewelry in a 12South storefront. We love this pendant necklace with coastal charms, making it the perfect summer accessory. Grab yours for $279.

Belt
The Tanger Outlet mall in Antioch recently welcomed a Patricia Nash Designs outlet, the first of its kind for the brand. We love this leather belt available for $59. Covered in apricot print, it would make an adorable addition to any summer outfit.

Waterproof bag
Nolensville’s Small Town Charm boutique is filled with sweet summer staples. The waterproof EVA Bogg bags have become all the rage at beaches and swimming pools in recent years, but Small Town Charm offers a collection of bag accessories and add-ons, like this smaller pouch ($32) for necessary knick-knacks.

BEAUTY & SELF-CARE
Summer makeup
Woo Skincare + Cosmetics has been a Nashville staple since 1992, located in the heart of Green Hills. Just in time for summer, the store is stocking the Chantecaille Sunstone Collection, which includes bronzers, blushes, and lipsticks, all in perfectly sun-kissed shades. We love the ‘Sunstone Real Bronze’ bronzer with pearl pigment for a gorgeous glow. It’s available for $82.

Beach wave spray
Unfortunately for Nashville locals, we have to commute quite a while to get salty beach waves the natural way. Thankfully, The Cosmetic Market stocks a hair spray from Oribe that does it all: tames, tousles, texturizes, and gives hair a perfect fresh-out-of-the-ocean look. Grab a bottle for $46.

Therapy dough
Great for relieving muscle tension and strengthening your hands, Pinch Me Therapy Dough is available in a variety of summery scents, including “Peachy,” pictured here. You can find it at East Nashville’s Abode Mercantile for $16.

Digital Detox Kit
While Jade & Clover is best known as a terrarium bar with build-your-own succulent and plant arrangements, the new Nashville outpost also offers a collection of housewares and gifts. The reusable Digital Detox Kit, available for $26, helps anyone unplug. The pack includes a tip sheet, a timer, a phone sleeve, a fidget cube, earplugs, and more, perfect for taming that screen time addiction we all secretly have. More time to enjoy your terrarium!

Happy July, Nashville!
