Any hostess would be thrilled to receive an arrangement of fresh, seasonal greenery and blooms — a sweet sentiment that helps to set the mood for weeks to come. These made-to-order holiday wreaths are made with a unique array of fresh materials, and if you’re looking to sweeten things up a little, you can add on a gourmet chocolate bar or small-batch caramels. Bread and cheese

Spread Market in Germantown is a neighborhood market that has a little bit of everything — from specialty olive oils and tinned fish to homemade breads, charcuterie, and cookbooks. Pop in and grab a loaf of their fresh sourdough ($10) and a jar of their spreadable cheese with fresh herbs ($5). For an even more robust hostess gift, choose a bottle or two from their selection of specialty wines!

Cheerful Chai is that classic chai with a holiday twist. Jolly Java is cocoa with spice flavors. And the third tin features Merry Mulling spices to add to wine or cider (and make any house smell just like Christmas!). The trio is $28.99 at Savory Spice.

Book

We have a weakness for gorgeous coffee table books, and this is definitely one we would love to add to our collections. Arriving Home is a compilation of photos from various homes in the city, the mountains, the country, and coastal locales — all while being rooted in Southern design. It’s inspiring to thumb through, but it’s just as pretty sitting on a coffee table and doubling as decor. Pick up a copy for $45 at White’s Mercantile.

Epiphany may have a brand new location on Harding Pike, but you’ll still find the same gorgeous home accents, furniture, and decor you’ve grown to love. Pillow

The cold winter months mean we’re spending more time at home, which is why it’s the ideal time for a little room refresh. We were immediately drawn to this gorgeous pillow from Margi’s Chair, measuring larger than your average throw pillow at 24-by-24 inches for maximum coziness. They come in several colors, but we’re partial to the deep blue! Find the pillow for $200 at Margi’s Chair.

Throw

Located in the heart of Belle Meade is an eclectic market of over 25 dealers featuring antiques and interior furnishings. You’ll find treasures galore there, but what caught our eye was this luxurious throw blanket made in Italy and perfect for keeping cozy this winter. There are plenty of colors and patterns to choose from, but we love this charcoal buffalo check style. Pick one up for $98 at Belle Meade Interiors & Antiques.
