Fun and eclectic, Memphis’s Crosstown neighborhood is rooted in rich history. Named for the trolley tracks that once connected it to the wider city, the area flourished around a massive Sears, Roebuck & Co. distribution center. When the building eventually shuttered, it marked a significant shift for the neighborhood. Today, it’s reimagined as Crosstown Concourse — a vibrant mixed-use hub. Consider this your guide on where to eat, shop, and play in this charming pocket of Memphis.

WHERE TO EAT & DRINK

• Art Bar: A full-service bar, Art Bar features artful, cutting-edge cocktails using local, fresh, and foraged ingredients, along with a curated list of wines and craft beers.
• Bao Toan Kitchen & Bar: This modern Vietnamese kitchen has a mix of bold flavors, bright herbs, and vibrant spices from a mother-daughter team. The menu includes pho, spring rolls, and seasonal dishes.

• Satellite Music Hall: Set to open later in 2026, this will be a new state-of-the-art 1,300-capacity venue for nearly 100 shows per year. Named after Satellite Records, this new space will also partner with Stax Music Academy to give local students hands-on experience in the music industry through its apprenticeship program.
• The Scoop by Kaye’s: Kaye’s Pints & Scoops is bringing the brand’s first storefront to Crosstown. Kaye’s uses local ingredients from small businesses to add Memphis flavor to the sweet treats, without any artificial colors or flavors.
