For nearly two decades, Clover + Bee has evolved alongside the Birmingham women it serves, building a loyal following with thoughtfully curated fashion and a strong sense of community. Now, owner Bryson Kessler is giving Cahaba Heights shoppers even more to celebrate, as the beloved boutique has a big announcement in store!
This fall, Bryson will launch Maggie Oaks, a clothing collection inspired by and dedicated to her sister, Beth, who recently lost her battle with cancer. To those who knew and loved her, Bryson says Beth “exuded joy” — a spirit that lives at the heart of the new brand. Its tagline, “wear a little joy,” serves as both encouragement and a loving challenge for the women who wear Maggie Oaks: to carry a little more joy with them and share it with the world.

The line will be available both online and in-store, offering customers colorful designs, natural-fiber fabrics, and seasonal drops to look forward to throughout the year. Each piece is named for a team member at the shop or one of Bryson’s family members, giving each item a deeper story.
The team behind Clover + Bee is a close-knit group that genuinely cares for one another. At the Maggie Oaks launch event, they gathered around long tables to share a meal, celebrate the new collection, and hear Bryson share personal stories and memories of Beth.

When creating Maggie Oaks, Bryson kept in mind a gap in the market she had noticed over the years: “Clothing can feel disposable now. We wanted to figure out how to create pieces that feel unique and different from what is out there: Maggie Oaks is 100% cotton, made from natural fibers, and the pieces are lined with pockets — all the details that make you love a piece of clothing a little bit more, at an attainable price.”

At Clover + Bee, the focus extends beyond clothing. Bryson and her team are committed to creating a community for women at every stage of life. Through her podcast, Honey for Your Heart, Bryson interviews customers and Clover + Bee team members, creating a space for women to tell their stories and connect through shared experiences.
“We want to share the stories that don’t always make it into the highlight reel,” says Bryson. “[Building that community] is one of the truest expressions of what Clover + Bee is really about: sharing stories that make all of us feel a little less alone.”
