In the world of fine jewelry, there are brands that nod to a lifestyle, and there are those built entirely within it. Karina Brez Jewelry falls firmly in the latter. Rooted in the equestrian community and shaped by a lifelong connection to craftsmanship, the brand has grown from a niche passion into a name recognized across some of the country’s most renowned riding circuits. The momentum continues, with Karina Brez Jewelry selected as the official bracelet sponsor of the prestigious 2026 FEI World Cup Finals in Fort Worth, Texas. Get to know Karina Brez, the dynamic force behind the brand!

Southern Roots, Global Reach

While the World Cup Finals will take place in Texas, the brand’s origins are firmly rooted in Florida, specifically Palm Beach and Wellington, two hubs of the equestrian world.

Florida is where the brand came to life and where our flagship store is located. As Miss Florida USA, I built a strong connection to the state, and with Florida being one of the top three states in the equine industry, it naturally plays a major role in our world,” Karina says. “That sense of effortless luxury and warmth continues to shape the brand, while the South’s tradition and hospitality are reflected in how I design and connect with clients.”

A Founder Story Fit Perfectly for Fine Jewelry

Karina’s approach to jewelry is deeply personal, shaped by a childhood spent immersed in the industry as a third-generation jeweler.

“Jewelry was always part of my environment. It wasn’t something I discovered later; it was something I lived. I was exposed early on to craftsmanship, gemstones, and the emotional significance behind each piece,” Karina says. “That foundation gave me both a technical understanding and an appreciation for the artistry, but it also pushed me to create something that felt entirely my own.”

That dual perspective, both technical and emotional, continues to define her work. Each piece is grounded in expertise, but it also must carry meaning for the wearer, whether it marks a milestone, a passion, or a connection to the equestrian world.

Karina notes that people often think gemology and fine jewelry design are the same, but they’re actually very different. “Gemology is the science of stones, understanding their origin, quality, and characteristics, while jewelry design is about bringing those stones to life in a piece,” she explains.

Outfitting the World Cup with Karina Brez Jewels

After years spent building a brand that feels as authentic to riders as it is aspirational to collectors, Karina was approached with the opportunity to become a major sponsor of the FEI World Cup Finals.

“After thoughtful consideration, we felt it was perfectly aligned with our brand,” Karina says. “The equestrian world has always been at the heart of Karina Brez Jewelry, so stepping into this role felt incredibly meaningful, both exciting and a true full-circle moment.”

Karina then got to work, fueled by a strong sense of responsibility to create something worthy of this year’s most spotlighted stage in the world.

A Signature Piece, Reimagined

Rather than designing something entirely new for the FEI World Cup Finals, Karina chose to revisit a piece that already holds deep meaning within her collection. “For this particular moment, we chose to feature one of our existing signature designs, the Huggable Hooves bracelet, which is one of our best sellers, and reimagined it as the official bracelet for the World Cup,” Karina says.

Built Within the Equestrian World

Unlike many brands that borrow inspiration from equestrian life, Karina Brez Jewelry was born inside it. “It’s not something we stepped into; it’s who we are. From Wellington to Kentucky to Traverse City, we’ve grown alongside this world,” Karina says. “The FEI represents the pinnacle of international equestrian sport, and our pieces are designed for those who live and breathe that lifestyle. It felt like an authentic alignment rather than a traditional partnership.”

The Details That Matter Most to Karina

In fine jewelry, it is often the smallest details that set a piece apart. For Karina, that attention extends beyond what is visible at first glance. She thinks about her clientele and how they could be on the horse one moment, cleaning a stable the next, and headed to an upscale brunch right after.

“The underside of each piece is something I pay very close attention to,” Karina says. “It’s what the wearer feels, even more than what they see. We incorporate a trellis design on the back of our horseshoes, inspired by the walls of our first store, as a subtle nod to where the brand began.”

And Karina explains that comfort is also essential, especially for riders. “Many of our rings are designed to be worn under gloves, so they’re crafted with both precision and ease in mind,” she says.

A Life That Reflects the Brand

Karina’s schedule mirrors the pace of the world she works in. “I find inspiration through movement, traveling between shows, being around horses, and experiencing different environments. Some of my best ideas come when I’m not actively trying to design,” she says.

As for days off, there really aren’t many, as Karina works six days a week. “When I do have a day, it’s usually spent catching up on errands. I love spending time with my daughter and my husband, along with our dog Cody, our cat Charlie, and our chinchilla Chai.”

Karina also likes decorating and fishing with her dad. “My life truly revolves around my business; it’s both my identity and my passion, and when I’m working, I’m at my happiest. It never really feels like work.”
