Fall is approaching quickly, bringing an undeniable desire to add a little more depth to our wardrobes. After months of light fabrics and easy summer dressing, there’s something exciting about reaching for deeper hues, playful prints, beautiful textures, and bold accessories again — even if the weather hasn’t quite caught up.
The good news? You don’t have to wait for the first cool day to start incorporating fall 2026 fashion trends. From rich suede and unexpected animal prints to satin ballet flats and statement-making scarves, many of this season’s fall trends can be incorporated now through accessories and accents added to your favorite summer pieces. Here are four of our favorites!

Suede
Suede will have a major moment this fall, bringing warmth and texture to even the simplest outfits. While it’s often associated with classic jackets and boots, this season, the luxurious material is making its way into everything from handbags and shoes to belts, skirts, and outerwear.
The easiest way to incorporate suede into your wardrobe is through accessories. A suede handbag, loafer, belt, or boot can instantly make your favorite jeans, trousers, or everyday dress feel fall-ready without requiring a completely new outfit.
If you’re ready to lean in a little further, try a suede jacket or skirt paired with basic pieces to let the texture take center stage.

Animal Prints
Don’t let this trend intimidate you — animal prints are back, but with a more sophisticated, versatile feel. From classic leopard to understated snakeskin and zebra, think of these patterns as a neutral that can add personality to an otherwise simple look.
For an easy introduction, start with a leopard-print belt, handbag, ballet flat, or scarf paired with your favorite denim or tailored neutrals. If you’re ready to make more of a statement, try an animal-print skirt or blouse with classic pieces. A little print can go a long way, and the right accessory can instantly make your everyday wardrobe feel more current.

Satin Ballet Flats
This fall, the ballet flat gets a softer, elevated update with the return of satin. The delicate fabric gives this classic shoe a romantic vibe while still feeling easygoing. Look for styles in rich fall shades like chocolate, burgundy, black, or even a neutral.
Pair them with straight-leg denim and a cozy knit for a laid-back weekend look, or wear them with tailored trousers or a midi skirt for something more evening-ready. If you love a feminine touch, try a satin flat with a simple dress or skirt — the contrast of the delicate satin with more structured pieces keeps the look modern.

Statement Accessories
After seasons of understated accessories and minimalist styling, statement pieces are making their way back into the spotlight. This fall, accessories are less about blending in and more about adding personality — think oversized scarves, bold jewelry, vibrant handbags, eye-catching belts, and shoes that make an outfit feel instantly more interesting.
The easiest way to embrace this trend is to let one accessory do the talking. Pair a bold handbag or belt with your favorite jeans and sweater, or add an oversized scarf to a streamlined coat for a pop of texture. You can also layer jewelry or mix accessories to create a collected look.
The key is to keep the rest of your outfit simple and let your accessories take center stage.

As with every season, trends are meant to inspire, not dictate. Think of them as fresh ideas to weave into your existing wardrobe and make your own. Take what speaks to you and leave the rest behind. Not every trend is meant for everyone.
At the end of the day, the best trends are the ones that work with your style and make you feel confident. Choose what feels like you, wear it your way, and have fun getting dressed this fall. Happy shopping!
