Since its summer 2021 opening, Brooklyn Bowl has quickly become one of Nashville’s most popular music venues. But, under the same roof, the venue also boasts a bowling alley, a restaurant, and a rooftop bar overlooking First Horizon Park, home of the Nashville Sounds. Whether you have a concert ticket or not, there’s so much to see and do in this dynamic space. We sat down with General Manager Sara Barnett to hear about their offerings and what’s coming next!
With locations in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Brooklyn, New York, Nashville was a no-brainer when it came to opening a third Brooklyn Bowl location. “Music City just seemed kind of obvious,” explains Sara. “We wanted to be part of this growing city. We just love Nashville’s music scene.”

Just one year after its grand opening, the venue has grown and changed exponentially. Despite already being established in other cities, the expansion into Nashville was a learning experience for both locals and the Brooklyn Bowl team. “We’ve been educating people and letting them know what we’re all about,” explains Sara. “We’re not just a bowling alley; we’re not just a music venue. People are starting to figure that out and are coming here more regularly. We’re getting better and better all the time.”
When it comes to bowling, Brooklyn Bowl offers 19 lanes total — 10 on the first floor and nine on the second. However, it’s anything but your typical bowling alley. No matter what lane you’re playing on, you can bowl a few strikes and watch a live music performance on a screen. Or, better yet, if turn around, you’ll see the stage and live performance happening right in front of you! “You get to experience the whole thing — all of it at once — which is really special,” says Sara. “There aren’t any other places like that.”

All lanes also include access to Brooklyn Bowl’s full-service restaurant. Best described as “elevated bar food,” the venue offers something to satisfy every palate. Standout menu items include the French bread pizzas made with bread from local staple Charpier’s Bakery and the Crispy Fried Chicken breaded with matzo meal. You also can’t miss the “Rock. And Roll. Fries,” which are Brooklyn Bowl’s twist on poutine, topped with chicken gravy, Cajun spice, provolone, and cheddar cheese.

In a city bursting at the seams with live music and concert venues, Brooklyn Bowl works hard to stand out against the crowd. While people often have to plan where to go for food or drinks before or after a concert, there’s no need for that with a show at Brooklyn Bowl. You can spend your whole night at the venue. “You can come for dinner, have a few drinks, bowl a couple of games, and then you can watch the show,” says Sara. “After the show, you can have more drinks and hang out with friends. There’s no need to go somewhere else.”

In addition to serving as a bowling alley, restaurant, and live music venue, Brooklyn Bowl Nashville also hosts special events. From intimate gatherings to entire buy-outs, the venue can accommodate all types of groups and gatherings. “We have that Music City draw without being on Broadway,” adds Sara. “There are so many activities; we have award-winning food, and you can watch a live music show.”
When it comes to the future of Brooklyn Bowl, Sara says they want to continue to be the go-to spot for both Nashville locals and visitors. “We like to host our neighbors in Germantown when they come out for dinner,” she says. “We want people to think about us when they think about bowling. We want people to consider us for our patio that overlooks where the Sounds play. We want to be that spot where the locals feel comfortable coming.”
