Modern elegance meets idyllic charm in the gorgeous, sidewalk-lined community of Liberty Park. This master-planned neighborhood nestled in Birmingham’s Vestavia Hills simultaneously exudes hometown charisma alongside sophisticated design. From handsome architecture and modern amenities to beautiful scenery and neighborhoods with character, Liberty Park welcomes families looking for a comfortable place to build memories.

Since the first family moved in nearly 25 years ago, Liberty Park has grown into a cherished hometown with more than 1,500 families now calling the community home. The almost 4,000-acre scale of the property allows for a sprawling design that consists of many charming neighborhoods surrounded by nature and interconnected by walking trails and picturesque lakes. Liberty Park’s stunning homes are designed with high style and high comfort in mind — designs where exquisite architecture marries elegance and comfort. Amenities are sprinkled throughout the grounds. From the community swim center, basketball courts, tennis center, parks, playgrounds and sidewalks that meander throughout the development, Liberty Park offers a cozy life filled with activity.
The community as a whole is intentionally planned to cultivate a feeling of togetherness and camaraderie, even offering gathering spaces, activities and events to strengthen that sense of community. And for those looking to raise children in the area, Liberty Park offers some of the best academics in the state, thanks to the Vestavia Hills school system, which received the high accolade of being named a national blue-ribbon school in 2017. Two of the district’s schools — Vestavia Hills Elementary and Liberty Park Middle schools — are conveniently located within the community, allowing students to easily walk or ride their bikes to and from school.
“Because their classmates are also neighbors, there’s a very special camaraderie to school life at Liberty Park,” says a Liberty Park parent. “From special events to cheering on sports teams, everyone in the community enjoys being involved and is like a family.”

Now ushering in a new era of homes and families, Liberty Park is growing to become an even more highly sought-after community. Drummond Built Homes, which was founded in 2017 by Liberty Park Joint Venture and serves as Liberty Park’s exclusive builder, is paving the way for new development in the community. Their goal is to focus on building the finest and most beautiful homes that boast a wide range of styles accompanied by the latest in interior design and home technology.
Along with a new wave of homes, Liberty Park is also welcoming a new 700-acre Town Village called The Bray, which will serve as the heartbeat of the community. The mixed-use Town Village will include 1,100 new homes, including townhomes and single-family homes, as well as a town green, pedestrian walkways and an impressive selection of shopping and dining. From a neighborhood fuel and convenience store to dinner and stylish shops, the village will allow residents to get the most out of their hometown.
To add to the excitement, Liberty Parks’ newest neighborhood, The Overlook on Reflection Lake, is now open — featuring stunning homes from the mid $400s to the $700s and the rare opportunity for “lake living” in the Magic City.

While Liberty Park is only 10 miles from downtown Birmingham, it feels removed from the fast pace of city life — a cherished hometown nestled in nature, where neighbors are friends and kids ride their bikes to school. From its sprawling smart design and breathtaking homes to its award-winning schools and exciting soon-to-be Town Village, this charming Vestavia Hills community seems to have it all.
