Liza Graves
Co-founder of StyleBlueprint
Raised in Virginia by an entrepreneurial family, Liza Graves opened her own café in Nashville at the age of 25 (bravely signing the lease at just 24!). She then married an entrepreneur, who was also raised in an entrepreneurial family. This start-up-loving spirit gives her a different perspective on life: “It’s in my blood to support locally owned businesses, and I care deeply about customer service,” she says. “I’m well-versed in foregoing a paycheck here and there in order to meet payroll. That’s how I was raised.”
Liza sold her café weeks before welcoming her and husband Jay’s second of three children. Between selling the café and the launch of StyleBlueprint, Liza served on various boards and got involved in several non-profits around town.
Now, StyleBlueprint is a more-than full-time job. And Liza admits it can be a struggle to balance work and family, she says, adding “I’m an empathetic ear to both stay-at-home moms and working moms as I’ve done both!”
Liza loves Nashville and is determined to seek out all the stylish, unique things this city has to offer in a genuine and authentic way: StyleBlueprint. “When I see something done well, I want to scream about it from a rooftop,” she explains. “StyleBlueprint is my rooftop!”
