Where Nashville’s Most Stylish Shop Locally
Julie Couch of Julie Couch Interiors —
“I absolutely love to pop into the beautiful jewelry shop, Judith Bright, located just behind my studio and gallery. It’s my go-to for fabulous gifts for friends, especially to celebrate a special occasion or milestone since I am able to choose the exact stones with the exact meaning that I want used in that particular piece. I love what the artists are able to create just for me! The pale turquoise gift wrapping is lovely too, and Judith’s elegant yet cool designs never disappoint.
The Perfect Pair is my go-to for shoes, clothes and accessories. The owner, Whitney, has incredible style and an infectious personality. Her pieces are affordable and fun without being too trendy. And, added bonus, the interior is gorgeous!”

Holly Williams of White’s Mercantile and H. Audrey —
“My first answer will come as no shock … I love to shop H. Audrey, of course!! It is truly my go-to for fashion and accessories. If I can ever find a minute to pamper myself, when I’m not wrangling children or recording music or working on H. Audrey and White’s Mercantile, I treat myself to skincare products and makeup from Cosmetic Market. AshBlue has a wonderful selection of home goods and gifts, and you can almost always find me scouring the shelves of GasLamp and GasLamp Too for all the antique treasures I use as displays in my stores. My friend, Claudia Fowler, has a few beautifully, curated women’s boutiques — Haven, Hero and Parish — where I can be sure to find a fun outfit for a show or event! I think Nashville is full of shopping gems that shouldn’t be overlooked!!”
Beth Haley of Beth Haley Design —
“Shopping locally is in my nature! I love the hunt of shopping to find the perfect piece for my clients and I am thankful shopping is part of my job. Most recently, I was asked to select contemporary art for a long-time client and I immediately thought of two of my favorite local art galleries, David Lusk Gallery and Zeitgeist Gallery — both located in the Wedgewood-Houston neighborhood. Their collections feel unique, fresh, always have a story to tell and are curated from artists across the country. What gems for our city!”
Amos Gott of Amos Events —
“When I’m looking for something unique and special for a gift, my first two stops are always AshBlue and Epergne. They both have so many great options for host gifts to birthday presents. If I’m shopping for myself, Levy’s and The Oxford Shop always take great care of me. And if I’m just wanting to spend a lazy afternoon exploring, The Nashville Farmers’ Market always has so many great finds.”
Ceri Hoover, owner of Ceri Hoover Designs —
“I love shopping in my neighborhood of 12 South, which has the best overall collection of brands. Though I am particularly partial to Imogene and Willie — the neighborhood trailblazers — and I have a healthy addiction to Firepot Chai, right next door to me. But when I get into my car, I head to Billy Reid for clothes and The Perfect Pair for shoes (in Green Hills). Billy has great stuff for me and my husband. I can be found most Saturday mornings at the Arcade, for kids’ party gifts, and Hey Rooster General Store, for hostess gifts … and a little something for myself.”
