If you haven’t driven through Green Hills lately, you’ll be surprised to find new buildings and business signs everywhere you look. If you have driven through Green Hills recently, you’re likely wondering where all these new businesses came from — and when they arrived. Many of the businesses have, in fact, come from elsewhere. The famed Shake Shack, a New York City-based chain serving up burgers and shakes, expanded to Nashville last summer. Style House Salon, a local business, relocated from their former location on Belmont Boulevard. True Food Kitchen and Char Restuarant are two additional transplant eateries garnering attention from local diners. CorePower Yoga got their start in Denver before expanding to cities like ours. A few spots, such as Sarah Bartholomew’s Studio, are exploring bricks-and-mortar for the first time. All of these spots, no matter their origins, are new to Green Hills, and we’re excited to share more about them. We have things organized chronologically, starting with the most recent openings. Take a look, and then head to Green Hills and check out these wonderful new additions to one of Nashville’s hottest neighborhoods!

September Openings
Vertis Green Hills
4000 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, TN 37215 • (615) 891-4331Â
The 18-story mixed-used development located on the corner of Hillsboro Pike and Richard Jones Road is perhaps the biggest change Green Hills has seen in the past year. In addition to luxury apartments, a number of retail, restaurant and office spaces also occupy the building. SculptHouse and CorePower Yoga opened at the complex in August. SculptHouse is a unique workout that combines the Megaformer and a curve treadmill for an intense (yet enjoyable) workout. Char, a steakhouse and grill, and True Food Kitchen, a health-conscious chain, were two much-anticipated fall openings, and diners were eager to test out the new eateries as they opened their doors in September. La Bella e Famosa Spa opened on the second floor of Vertis in October, and Spoke & Weal hair salon joined them earlier this month. PAINT Nail Bar opened their luxury nail salon in October. Stop by for a fresh coat of paint in a home-like setting. Those looking for one-on-one fitness will be happy to know that The Set Studio is now offering personal training.
Coming soon to the building are two additional restaurants, Charlotte-based Brixx Wood Fired Pizza and Santo, a modern Mediterranean spot by the owners of Epice.

Folks jumped for joy when they learned First Watch, a breakfast spot where everything is made to order, was opening up in Green Hills. At this daytime eatery, you can start your morning with breakfast favorites, including bacon and eggs, pancakes and waffles, hash, avocado toast and omelets. Light lunch options include salads and sandwiches.

Apple stores across the country have been working hard to revamp their spaces, and the location at The Mall at Green Hills is no exception. The Green Hill’s Apple Store has been shut down since earlier this year, and the renovation reportedly cost Apple $2.5 million. Apple, we missed you.

Hours: Daily, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
The burgers, shakes and fries that made Shake Shack famous in other major cities are now found in Green Hill’s Hill Center. The burger chain also features local flavors, like Peg Leg Porker’s seasoned cracklins that top the Crackle Shack Cheeseburger, Little Mosko’s pie that’s served with vanilla custard, and Olive & Sinclair Chocolate Co.’s bourbon nib brittle that is found in the caramel bourbon twist shake. This place is definitely worth the hype.

Restoration Hardware launched with a bang during their private opening with a guest list that included names like Portia de Rossi, Naomi Watts and Karen Elson. The 70,000-square-foot gallery, with four levels showcasing their homewares, plus a café, is unlike anything else in town. We suggest you stroll through the (seemingly endless) store before stopping in the RH Café for fries and a glass of wine.

This fall, Sundance, Altar’d State, Untuckit and a Peloton showroom opened, and next year, they will be joined by Modern Italian restaurant North Italia and premium candy company Lolli & Pops.
