FACES of Nashville: Alexis Soler
If you didn't meet Alexis Soler, owner of the ubercool bar No. 308, when we introduced her a while back, here's your chance today!

When and why did you move to Nashville?
I grew up in Miami, FL, and I wanted to try something slower paced and I got it [in Nashville]. The thought of moving back to a major city right now stresses me out.
Is this your first business venture?
No. 308 is my first business and definitely not my last.
What is the greatest piece of advice you have been given?
Watch the sun rise at least once a year.
Do you have a favorite cocktail?
I don’t have a favorite cocktail. Maybe a favorite cocktail of the day. I like all spirits. I have been drinking a lot of whiskey lately. After all, I am in Tennessee.

What was it like being featured in Garden & Gun?
It was an honor be featured in G&G alongside all of the other amazing individuals.
What books can be found on your bedside table?
Wallpaper magazine and a book of short stories by Richard Brautigan.
Favorite thing to do on a Saturday night?
Well… you can find me behind the stick at No. 308 every Saturday night.
Favorite restaurant in Nashville for lunch?
Its a toss up between my favorite lunch spots. Mitchells Deli and Silly Goose.
Event most looking forward to attending in September or October?
No. 308 on Halloween weekend. Its something I have been planning for since we opened
What is your “must-have” purchase for Fall 2011.
My Halloween costumes…and new tall black boots.
Favorite vacation spot?
Miami. New York. Anywhere I can see friends and eat and drink well.
Do you have a playlist for a dinner party that you can share with our readers?
Anything by João Gilberto, Brigiette Bardot or Franciose Hardy
Name three things you can’t live without (excluding friends, family and God)
- Remington (my dog)
