From historic hotel The Hermitage, which just completed a multi-year renovation of its lobby, ballroom, 122 guest rooms, and two restaurants, to instagrammable spots like The Graduate, Nashville pulls out all the stops when it comes to overnight accommodations. Whether you’re looking to make suggestions for out-of-town guests or you’re searching for a relaxing staycation for yourself, there’s no shortage of places to consider.
With offerings such as rooftop infinity pools, restaurants from Michelin-rated chefs, and luxurious spas at many Nashville hotels, pampering is the name of the game when it comes to Nashville’s favorite hotel offerings.
Here are two new additions to Music City’s hotel scene – and four more on the way – each offering stellar amenities, elite service, and gorgeous skyline views.
Conrad Hotel
1620 West End Ave., Nashville, TN 37203 • (615) 327-8000
At 12,000 square feet, the newly opened Conrad Hotel (part of the Hilton portfolio) is a luxe urban escape in Midtown’s bustling scene. A mere stone’s throw from Music Row, it’s part of the new mixed-use Broadwest development and delivers 13 floors with 234 guest suites, five wellness rooms, and a spacious fitness center. It also has several culinary offerings, including the hotel’s main restaurant from Executive Chef Dwayne Edwards, Blue Aster, and the third level’s Thistle and Rye. Local artwork and a neutral-toned aesthetic drive the hotel’s contemporary interior design, brought to life by award-winning firm Champalimaud Design out of New York.
1 Hotel Nashville
710 Demonbreun St., Nashville, TN 37203 • (615) 510-0400
A nature-inspired, sustainable sanctuary in the middle of downtown Nashville, 1 Hotel is an ivy-covered oasis that makes you forget (if only for a moment) that you’re a few blocks from the honky-tonks. This 18-floor luxury hotel is pet-friendly and mission-driven, and it boasts 215 guestrooms (37 suites) filled with natural elements, greenery, and organic cotton bed linens. The Bamford Wellness Spa delivers ample opportunity for pampering, from yoga to massage therapy, and the dining is reason enough to make the hotel a destination. Snag a seat at 1 Kitchen (coming soon!), the farm-to-table restaurant serving seasonal, locally sourced dishes, and even a biodynamic, organic wine list. From complimentary wellness juices upon arrival and fitness classes from Triluna Wellness to local live music in the lobby, 1 Hotel is a unique experience. Additionally, the hotel is dedicated to local community efforts — their “1 Less Thing” initiative encourages guests to leave a piece or two of clothing that will then be donated to one of the hotel’s local charity partners.
4 Coming Soon …
According to the Nashville Convention and Visitors Corp, 2022 is welcoming no less than a dozen new hotels to the Music City scene. While they may not all be opening their doors yet, here are four highly-anticipated hotel openings for this year and beyond.
Hotel Fraye Nashville: August 2022
1810 Broadway, Nashville, TN 37203 • (615) 321-1007
Part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, Hotel Fraye is slated to open on Thursday, August 18, 2022. The 200-room property in Midtown will offer a beautiful pool deck for lounging, swimming, and sunning, an event space for gatherings, and three chef-driven culinary concepts. Get ready for Gathre, a signature restaurant featuring upscale American cuisine, and Eddie Ate Dynamite, a rooftop bar where you can sip tasty cocktails as you watch the sun set over Music City.
Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences: September 2022
100 Demonbreun St., Nashville, TN 37201 • (615) 610-5001
Years in the making, the new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Nashville is only a few months from opening its doors in SoBro! Slated for a September launch, the hotel will feature 193 rooms and 42 suites with the upscale design and resort-style amenities that define the Four Seasons brand. Additionally, the uppermost floors of the 40-story glass building will be home to 144 private residences. Already accepting reservations, the hotel will offer a rooftop poolside lounge, panoramic views, and the recently unveiled dining concept Mimo Restaurant and Bar, which will showcase Southern Italian dishes with Southern flair. Plus, you can look forward to oodles of pampering at the Spa at Four Seasons, which offers a serene, full-service retreat amid the downtown hustle and bustle.
The Nashville Downtown EDITION: September 2024
1101 Grundy St., Nashville, TN 37203Â
The North Gulch is getting ready to see even more construction with the introduction of a high-end boutique hotel called EDITION. The proposed 17-story building is slated to open in September 2024 and is expected to offer 282 rooms, a rooftop bar and terrace, as well as a swimming pool, spa, and restaurant. There’s also talk of a roughly 8,000-square-foot food hall at the basement level, which will feature numerous vendors. We will, undoubtedly, have more information as we get a bit closer. For now, we’ll keep envisioning the proposed biophilic design and dream of future staycations!
Ritz Carlton Nashville Downtown: 2025
401 7th Ave. S., Nashville, TN 37203
Admittedly, we’re a ways off from welcoming the Ritz-Carlton to Music City, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t plenty of hype surrounding it. The five-star hotel is expected to make its Nashville debut in SoBro in 2025 (right near the Korean Veterans Boulevard roundabout), and the town is abuzz. Rumor has it we can expect approximately 240 guestrooms and amenities such as a sky deck pool, a 6,000-square-foot spa, and a rooftop restaurant. We can’t wait to hear more!
We hope we’ve inspired your travel bug … or at least a staycation!
