This classic chili recipe is a traditional take on chili, and it’s oh-so-easy to make. Brown the meat, dump everything in the Crock Pot and wait. Also, make a double-batch and freeze half for a busy night where you can’t find time to cook. Simplicity at its best! Enjoy!
Classic Chili Recipe
- 2 lb ground beef
- 2 cans diced tomatoes
- 1/2 can tomato paste save the rest in case you need to thicken up the chili later
- 2 onions
- 2 green peppers
- 1 lemon
- 1 pack chili seasoning
- 1 can tomato sauce
- Brown the onion and peppers. Remove.
- Brown the beef.
- Put everything in the Crock Pot and cook on low all day.
- Toppings can include shredded cheese, red onion, green onion, sour cream and/or Fritos.
