Workshop Series: Witnessing Art Through Expressive Writing (Part Three)

Workshop Series: Witnessing Art Through Expressive Writing (Part Three)

Presented in partnership with the Porch Writers’ Collective and Tayana L. Hardin, PhD, MDiv, ARTS Liturgist, this thoughtful workshop series invites participants to slow down, reflect, and renew through the practices of art viewing, expressive writing, and contemplation. Grounded in research highlighting the benefits of creative and reflective practices for personal well-being, the series explores how art and storytelling can foster self-awareness, healing, enjoyment, and community connection. Part III focuses on storytelling through themes of migration, visibility, environmental justice, and resilience, drawing inspiration from the Frist Museum’s exhibition Anila Quayyum Agha: Interwoven.
