Lake Murray’s Independence Day Celebration 2026

Celebrate Independence Day at Lake Murray during the annual celebration, featuring a spectacular fireworks display launched from Spence and Dreher Islands. Thousands of spectators gather by boat each year to enjoy the patriotic tradition under the stars in true red, white, and blue style. For guests without a boat, designated viewing areas are available at Dreher Island State Park, where regular park admission and parking fees apply. The fireworks show takes place from 9 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. and is free to attend.
