Halloween Pooch Party

Bring your pup to Cheekwood Estate & Gardens for a fun-filled weekend designed especially for dogs and their families. Browse dog-friendly vendors, treat your furry friend to special goodies, and enter one of the weekend’s costume contests, held at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day. In honor of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s special costume category is “Founding Paw-thers,” inviting pups to dress as their favorite American icons. Additional award categories include Best Kid & Canine Combo, Adult & Dog Duo, and Top Dog. Dogs must remain on a leash, are not permitted inside buildings, and owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Water refill and doggie bag stations are available throughout the property, and guests are encouraged to bring their own bowls. cheekwood.org
