Kick off Halloween weekend at Freaky Frist Friday, an after-dark celebration where the strange becomes spectacular, and the beautifully bizarre takes center stage. Rumor has it that the ghosts of the Frist Art Museum’s historically haunted building are ready for a party, and guests can join them for an evening featuring gasp-inducing contortionists, a fire-breathing performer, and curious creatures, including a charmingly bearded dragon.

The evening also includes hauntingly mesmerizing performances by the Steinway Spirio, the world’s finest high-resolution self-playing piano, as well as gallery scavenger hunts and opportunities to unleash creativity in Martin ArtQuest. Guests are encouraged to dress up and enter the costume contest, with the first-place winner receiving a one-night stay at the Fairlane Hotel and a complimentary dinner for two at 7 Paintings. fristartmuseum.org

Purchase your ticket by October 18 for the Early Bird price of $15 for members (discount applies in cart when logged in), and $30 for non-members. Standard pricing begins on October 19, tickets will be $25 for members and $40 for non-members. Guests must be 18 or older to attend. A valid photo ID is required at the door.
